You might say some of my first subjects were 80,000 feet away from the cameras and had no idea they were being photographed. That was during Vietnam, and the cameras were on board the famous SR-71 aircraft. I was back at the base, waiting for the plane, "my" cameras and the film to come back.
Eventually, I left the air force and the SR-71 was retired.
Most of my post-service "professional" photographic experience has come through journalism. I specialize in sports photography - particularly Mid-American Conference football and basketball. However, I do other work, as well.
